Digital financial transformation has accelerated the use of e-wallets among Generation Z, while concerns regarding financial literacy, perceived risk, and the growing availability of PayLater features shape financial behavior. This study aims to examine the effects of financial literacy, risk perception, and PayLater features on Generation Z’s decisions to use e-wallets in Cirebon City. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using primary data collected through questionnaires from 95 Generation Z respondents selected by purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics version 32 through descriptive statistics, validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t-tests, F-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that financial literacy has a positive but insignificant effect on e-wallet usage decisions (B = 0.215; p = 0.060), risk perception has a positive but insignificant effect (B = 0.063; p = 0.333), and PayLater features also have a positive but insignificant effect (B = 0.141; p = 0.085). However, the three variables simultaneously have a significant effect (F = 3.133; p = 0.029), with an Adjusted R² of 0.064. The study concludes that Generation Z’s e-wallet usage decisions are influenced by the combined interaction of these factors rather than their individual effects.
