Abstract

Surra Building Shop is an MSME engaged in the sale of building materials that still uses a manual system for sales recording and inventory management. The problems identified include stock discrepancies, recording errors, and difficulties in determining future inventory requirements. This study aims to design and develop a web-based inventory information system that integrates inventory management and stock forecasting features. The system development method used was the Waterfall model, which consists of the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. In addition, the Weighted Moving Average (WMA) method was applied to generate stock forecasts based on historical sales data. The results showed that the developed system improved the efficiency of inventory data management, reduced recording errors, and provided stock forecasting recommendations to support more accurate decision-making. This system is expected to serve as a solution for similar MSMEs in optimizing inventory management and supporting sustainable business growth.
